KRU Championship: Masinde Muliro University and South Coast Pirates secure home semifinal

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Rugby and South Coast Pirates on Saturday inched closer to achieving their dreams of qualifying to the Kenya Cup after securing home semifinals as the 2023-2024 KRU Championship regular season came to an end.
MMUST bagged a 27-7 win over Mombasa to hand the Kakamega-based side a home semi-final.
The John Asila coached outfit have finished top of the log with 44 points.
On the other hand, South Coast Pirates concluded their regular season in style by defeating United States International University (USIU) 35-22.
The win saw the Diani based outfit finish second on the log behind MMUST.
