Defending champions Kabras Sugar continued with their Kenya Cup dominance on Saturday after thrashing Catholic Monks 78-0 at the Moi Kakamega Showgrounds in Kakamega.

Kenya Sevens star Lameck Ambetsa and Kenya Simbas winger Derrick Ashiundu each bagged a brace as the sugar men solidified their top spot in the 12-team standings.

Jeanson Musoga scored the game's first try to lead 5-0 after Ntabeni Dukisa kicked wide the conversion.

In the final half, a penalty try gifted Kabras easy seven points to lead 38-0 before David Bunduki shot his way through the Monks defense line to score and take the lead to 45-0 after Dukisa’s conversion.
