Kenya Simbas go down to Kabras Sugar in Elgon Cup build up

Kenya Simbas lost 25-20 to Kenya Cup champions Kabras Sugar during their Victoria and Elgon Cup build up match played at the Moi ASK Showgrounds in Kakamega on Thursday.

Hillary Salano, Patrick Lumumba, and Victor Asiligwa scored for Kabras who are also using the matches to prepare for their title defense in the upcoming 2023-2024 Kenya Cup season.

Alfred Orege scored a brace for Simbas as Bryson Adaka also went over the white wash in the defeat. Both players are from Kabras.

Kenya will begin their assignment when they face off against Zambia next week on Wednesday at Kyadondo Stadium.

The Jerome Paarwater boys will then face off against Uganda during the first leg of the Elgon Cup on November 5 at the King's Park Arena. The return leg will be played in Kisumu on November 11.
