National Sevens Circuit leaders Kabras Sugar on Saturday strolled into the quarterfinals of the Prinsloo Sevens after dominating their Group A matches played at Nakuru Athletic Club
Kabras Sugar walloped Western Bulls 31-7 and beat Homeboyz 31-19 to romp into the quarterfinals with a match in hand against Kisumu RFC in Pool A matches.
Western Bulls picked a slim 14-12 victory against Kisumu RFC who had earlier defeated Homeboyz 19-17 to make it open for either of the three teams to qualify for the quarterfinals.
Prinsloo defending champions Menengai Oilers avenged the Kisumu's Dala Sevens derby defeat against their next door neighbours Nakuru RFC whom they dismissed 5-0 in the first Pool B.
Later, Oilers were forced to a 10-10 draw against Nondescript before beating Catholic Monks 7-0. Monks later made life difficult for Nondescript whom they beat 19-14.
