The bankers picked their third straight bonus point win after seeing off Homeboyz 29-10 while defending champions Kabras Sugar edged out Kenya Harlequin 27-12 in Kakamega last Saturday.

The wins saw them leapfrog Menengai Oilers who dropped to third in the log after missing out on a bonus point victory despite defeating Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) 26-10 in Nakuru.
