Victory saw Warriors leapfrog their local rivals Kenya Police to top the log with 20 points after eight round of matches played.

Sailors dropped to fifth after the defeat, their second of the campaign. They have 11 points.

Strathmore University Gladiators moved to third in the standings with 13 points after bouncing back to winning ways with a deserved 4-1 win over last year’s runners up Wazalendo.
