KCB will be keen to avenge a 11-10 loss suffered in 2019 ahead of their Enterprise Cup semi-final against Impala Saracens set for Impala Club on Saturday.
Former Kenya Sevens captain Andrew Amonde is upbeat about helping KCB Rugby reach the finals of this year’s Enterprise Cup.
The KCB back-rower said his side will take a different tactical approach in this match to ensure they register positive results.
The bankers lost to Impala at the same stage last season and according to him, this is a must-win match having bowed out of the Kenya Cup.
“Impala is a good side. We respect them a lot but we go to this match full of confidence having won convincingly last weekend against another worthy opponent. A game against Impala is always a difficult one but we are ready,” said Amonde.

Despite some of the big names in the squad joining the Kenya Simbas, Amonde reckons they’re still the favorites ahead of this clash.
KCB Winger Jacob Ojee echoed Amonde’s sentiments saying the boys are buzzing to end the season on a high note despite the Kenya Cup heartbreak.
“We last won the Enterprise Cup in 2017, that’s such a long-time considering KCB is a winning team. We have the depth in our squad to clinch this season’s title,” Ojee said.
KCB hammered Blak Blad from Kenyatta University 87-12 in the quarterfinals played at the KCB Ruaraka Sports Club last weekend to reach the semis.
On the other hand, Impala Saracens railed from behind 13-5 at the break to beat Nakuru 20-16 at the Impala Sports Club.
