The oldest rugby competition in Kenya, the Enterprise Cup, will kicks off with action in the round of 16 on Saturday.

First played in 1930, and donated by sailors from HMS Enterprise who had toured East Africa in 1928.

This tournament is an annual knockout competition and has been played every year with the exception of 1940 -46 due to World War II, 1987 due to the 4th All African Games and 2020-21 due to the Covid -19 pandemic.

Defending champions and newly crowned Kenya Cup champions Kabras Sugar who won it 2019 before the Covid -19 pandemic disrupted local and international sporting activities begin their title defense with a clash at home to Mean Machine.

Resolution Impala Saracens, losing finalists in 2019 have a tough outing against Kenya Cup runners up Menengai Oilers while KCB take on the Strathmore Leos.

Other matches in the round of 16 pit Blak Blad against Mombasa, Mwamba hosting Kisumu as Topfry Nakuru take on Masinde Muliro with Nondescripts facing Western Bulls.
