Ojee, Onyala return to Kenya Simbas squad for South Africa tour

Olympians Jacob Ojee and Vincent Onyala have been named in the 30-man Kenya Simbas final squad set to take part in the upcoming South Africa tour in November.

The KCB Rugby Club duo are back in the national rugby 15s squad for the first time since 2019.

Kabras back row Dan Sikuta captains the squad and will be assisted by KCB utility back Darwin Mukidza and Romania based lock Malcolm Onsando.

Meanwhile, Derrick Ashihundu and Brian Wahinya are set to make their debuts in South Africa. Fijian-born Jone Kubu has maintained his place after his impressive debut in July.

The squad will leave the country next week on Wednesday, November 3.

They begin their fixtures in South Africa with a tie against the Currie Cup All-Stars in the Carling Champions Cup in Pretoria on Saturday, November 6th before playing in the Stellenbosch Quadrangular series between November 14th and 20th.

 They will wind up their tour with a clash against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Thursday, November 25th.
