Defending Kenya Cup champions KCB Rugby Club will play Menengai Oilers in the Kenya Cup playoff matches set for Saturday.

The semis will feature four sides that finished in the top four in the 2021 Kenya Cup campaign

KCB RFC who finished second in the regular league losing just one game, at the hands of Kabras, will be aiming to go past the Oilers at the KCB Sports Club.

The Bankers will be featuring in the semis for the seventh time since 2014.

On the other hand, Oilers will be appearing in the Kenya Cup semis for the first time.

This is an improvement for the club which got promoted three years ago. Oilers finished sixth last season and have finished third this season.

Kabras Sugar, top of the log at the close of the league phase will be at home to fourth placed Strathmore Leos at the Nandi Bears Club in Nandi County.

After returning to the Leos top tier earlier this season, Leos finished fourth in the regular season. They will be featuring in the semis for the first time since 2013.

Both matches will kick off at 2.00pm East African Time.

The winners of the semifinal fixtures will clash in the final on Saturday, September 4.
