Kenya Under-20 national rugby team captain John Baraka will debut for Kabras Sugar FC on Saturday as the sugar millers travel to play Top Fry Nakuru RFC at Moi Showground in Nakuru.

Fresh from captaining Chipu to retaining the Barthes Cup last weekend, Baraka will be joined by fellow U20 players Collins Indeche and William Opaka in the team’s bench.

Kabras will be seeking to leapfrog leaders KCB at the top of the standings with a win in Nakuru.

Kabras have been boosted by the return of six players who missed last weekend’s match due to Kenya Simba’s duties.

Nine players in captain Dan Sikuta, Jone Kubu, Brian Juma, George Nyambua, Barry Robinson, Bryceson Agesa, Brian Tanga, Ephraim Oduor and Eugene Sifuna all return but only six make the the match day squad.

In the team, Joseph Odera and Hillary Mwanjilwa keep their places in the front row and are joined by Eugene Sifuna who replaces Teddy Akala.

Mitch Jaoko has been switched with Brian Juma in the second row and will partner with Hillary Odhiambo.

Kenya Simba’s two-try hero George Nyambua will replace Thomas Simiyu as Kevin Wekesa and Jeanson Musoga maintain at open flanker and eighth man respectively.

Brian Tanga is back at scrum-half demoting Dan Angwech to the bench as Ntabeni Dukisa maintains at number 10.

Felix Ayange, Alfred Orege and Walter Okoth keep their places on the wings and are joined by Bryceson Agesa and Kenya Simbas new star Jone Kubu.
