Odinga’s donation comes a day after Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja via his Twitter requested other leaders to join Kenyans in helping Ayimba’s family to settle his medical bill that stands at Sh2.3 million.

President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier sent his contribution of Sh1 million to the hospital.

“Let’s keep at it #TurnUpforBenja. Thank you H.E Uhuru for the KES 1m. Kindly @RailaOdinga @WilliamsRuto @MusaliaMudavadi join in,” he tweeted.
