Matchday 31 in the English Premier League treats us to a Super Sunday blockbuster, Tottenham Hotspurs welcoming Manchester United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham will miss the services of Matt Doherty and Ben Davies due to muscle and ankle injuries respectively.

Hugo Lloris is expected to start in goal as usual, with Mourinho anticipated starting Toby Alderweireld, Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez and Sergio Reguilon in his backline.

Mourinho will likely choose a midfield three; Tanguy Ndombele, Lucas Moura and Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, WITH Gareth Bale, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane completing the attack.

On the other hand, visitors Man United boast two wins in two after the international break; a 2-1 home victory against Brighton followed by an important away victory in the Europa League against Spain’s Granada.

United are hopeful Marcus Rashford will play after he was taken off against Brighton due to an issue with his ankle. Luke Shaw was also substituted against Granada after picking up a knock but is expected to be in the starting XI.

Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Antony Martial are all unavailable.

De Gea could return in goal in the league after his re-introduction in the Europa League, with the captain Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka expected to start the game in defence.

Bruno Fernandes will be Man United’s spark in midfield and could be flanked by Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay.

Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford are all expected to start in attack for Man united, should injury issues not trouble the latter.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at exactly 6:30 pm East African Time.
