Police confirm arrest of Digital Strategist Pauline Njoroge, two others

Police in Watamu, Kilifi County have confirmed the arrest of Digital Strategist Pauline Njoroge alongside two others.
According to a report filed at Watamu Police Statio on Saturday, July 23, Ms. Njoroge was found in possession of suspected narcotics.
She was arrested together with the driver of the vehicle she was aboard and another female.
"At around 1630 hours, officers from DCI Kilifi county while tracing for one Pauline Njoroge, intercepted a motor vehicle along Watamu Jacaranda road and upon search from the vehicle, four rolls of dry plant material suspected to be narcotic drugs were recovered," a snippet of the police report reads.
Njoroge is a member of the Uhuru-led faction of the Jubilee party and a brutal critic of the Kenya Kwanza government.

She is also a new official of the Jubilee Party, appointed National Executive Council (NEC) board in May this year.
News of her arrest broke it on social media on Saturday after lawyer Ndegwa Njiru shared it on his social media pages.
