Curfew: It is business as usual in Tokyo –Notebook day 4

When I heard that there was a state emergency in Tokyo, I knew that there must be very strict rules of people especially been out at night.
What I found though is a different picture. Until even 1 am in the morning you can still see a number of cars stopping at street lights and people walking around, which shows that there is no curfew-like we have back in Nairobi.
The foreigners though are discouraged from walking around the streets. Yours truly is only five days old here and can’t be allowed to have a taste of Tokyo life until 14 days are over.
Elsewhere
Directions: Getting lost is becoming the order of the day.
Tokyo is a very big city and games have been spread across many places across the city.
It also does not help that many locals here especially the taxi drivers who are supposed to take people from one place to the other don’t understand English.
My colleagues have got lost here a number of times trying to locate where one particular event is.
Some were taken to the Olympics Stadium when they wanted to go to the Tokyo Stadium where rugby sevens are played.
They eventually reached the stadium, but after having made a small tour of Tokyo city.
