National Olympic Committee-Kenya President Paul Tergat is still a popular face at the Olympics and many are able to pick him out, never mind the fact that he has a mask on and is the requirement here in Japan.

Many officials at the boxing arena mixed zone were able to pick him out as he waited to meet Christine Ongare who had just lost her bout.

This was also a chance for my colleagues Elias Makori (Nation) and Alex Isaboke (Capital) and myself to talk to Tergat about Kenya’s chances here in Tokyo.
