A boat carrying five police officers, two staff members of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and one marine officer on Friday morning, March 24 capsized in Mugabo Beach, Muhuru Bay Ward in Nyatike Constituency, Migori County.

The incident occurred at 1am, police said.

A search operation had been launched following the incident.

As of the time of publishing this story, no victim had been found.
