A Chemistry graduate from Dedan Kimathi University of Technology has produced a hair oil to help men avoid balding.

Vivian Nkirote is the mastermind behind Veenky Natural Hair Booster Oil, a product that she says originated as an idea when she was a student.

"In 2019, I pitched the idea while I was in campus, focusing on the concept of using oil enriched with natural plant extracts and devoid of any chemicals to nourish hair from the root to the tip," she said.

Nkirote said although the idea was hers, the university provided her with an environment at the Science Park that facilitated the process of getting the product onto the shelves.

"For men who wish to avoid hair loss, they simply need to apply a drop of the oil to the affected scalp area and massage it in. Within two weeks, results will become evident," she added.

For her, the idea was to create a natural hair oil capable of both treating and strengthening hair follicles.

"This oil is suitable for all hair types and is recommended for all ages. It's perfect for individuals dealing with thinning or damaged hair," she said.
