We want to be closer to our customers and potential customers in the region,” said NIC Bank Chairman, James Ndegwa, during the opening ceremony.

Earlier this year, the bank opened a branch in Machakos County, while in July, NC Uganda, a subsidiary of the Group, opened a second branch in the country, at the Village Mall, Kampala. Group Managing Director John Gachora said the bank is looking to grow its customer base and asset book by growing its reach.
