"This is truly a special Easter holiday gift to millions of families to bond over a thrilling spectacle. You really can't find a rally as tough, compelling, beautiful and rewarding as the one in Kenya," said the president.

The rally drivers will then make their way to the Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani Stadium for a Super Spectator stage before heading down to Service Park in Naivasha for the three-day display.

The rally has a lineup of 29 drivers and will be held at the Loldia Ranch in Ndulele Conservancy in Naivasha starting today, March 28 to 31.

Among the local drivers who will feature in the race include five-time Safari Rally champion Carl 'Flash' Tundo, Sommah Vohra, and Karani Patel.

The yearly rally takes various routes in Naivasha which are Malewa, Loldia, Elementaita, and Soysambu.

Rally lovers will have a chance to watch the cars race strategically, including at the Hells Gate National Park where the closing ceremony will be held with winners being announced.
