Moses Kuria: Time for politicking is over

Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has urged Homa Bay County residents to embrace the government and set aside their political differences.
Speaking during the launch of the industrial park in the county, Kuria said that the time for politicking is over and that Kenyans should embrace each other despite their political differences.
"Going forward I want us to prioritize our needs and not those of politicians because that is the only way we can deal with poverty. We must all unite and stop wasting time bickering because that time will not be recovered," said Kuria on Wednesday, October 4.
This is the seventh county Kuria is launching the park which is expected to create about 20,000 employment opportunities.
Kuria's visit to Homa Bay County sets the ground for President William Ruto's visit to the county later this week.
Ruto is expected on Saturday, October 7 to commission a number of development projects which mostly aim at reviving the lake transport and promotion of the blue economy.
This will be Ruto's fifth visit to the Nyanza region since his swearing-in.
