Former radio presenter Joshua Arap Sang has landed a communication job at State House.

Sang will now take up the role of Director, Public Communications at the office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service.

He has been appointed to the post by President William Ruto.

"Thank you, President William Ruto for appointing me as Director, Public Communications in the office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service," the former journalist posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday evening.

His appointment comes at the back of a radio career spanning over two decades.

Sang quit Media Max Emoo radio on March 24 this year, while his next move remained unclear.

Before joining Emoo, he was a radio presenter at the popular Kass FM.

It was his show that made him a person of interest during the 2007 post-election violence, and he was accused of committing crimes against humanity.

Alongside President Ruto and Henry Kosgey, the three appeared severally before the International Criminal Court (ICC), but their case was terminated due to a lack of sufficient evidence.

The case went on for six years until September 2016 when it was dismissed.
