This is the second of the demonstrations that are scheduled to run on a bi-weekly basis - every Monday and Thursday.
Police IG Japhet Koome termed the protests illegal, saying anyone found breaching the law will be indicted.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki, while observing that protesters have a right to peaceful demonstration, said that the government will, however, not tolerate chaotic and economically disruptive protests.
