KNRC leader Karan Patel wins 2022 ARC Equator Rally

Kenya National Rally Championship leader Karan Patel clocks 2:26:55.4 to win the second leg of the 2022 African Rally Championships, dubbed Equator Rally, in Naivasha today.

Patel bagged five of the eight stages including the practice and qualifying sections on Friday.

FIA Young Star driver Jeremy Wahome timed 2:29:56.0 to take second position, his first ever podium finish in the ARC.

The continental showpiece was a curtain raiser for the WRC Safari Rally to be held in the lakeside town in June.
