Kenya falls to South Africa at the Singapore Sevens quarterfinals

Kenya Sevens fell to South Africa at the quarterfinals of the Singapore Sevens on Sunday morning after making impressive performances in the preliminary.

Kenyans opened the tournament with a slim 19-28 loss to England before going on a two game winning streak, which saw them beat France 34-0 before humbling USA 33-14 in the following match.

Shujaa Sevens would then book a slot in the quarterfinals of the tournament against their closest fellows South Africans. A loss to South Africans implies that Kenyans will now lock horns with New Zealand at 11.am this morning to battle it out for the fifth place semis.
