Arsenal join race to sign Real Madrid starlet Marcos

Arsenal want to sign Real Madrid starlet Marcos Llorente but will face a fight with Sevilla and Atletico Madrid.

Arsene Wenger rates the Spanish midfielder and is prepared to move after Los Blancos opened the door to his exit, report AS.

The Gunners have enjoyed a fine summer with the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette, but despite depth in the midfield, Wenger may look to add more class.

Llorente now finds himself behind Mateo Kovacic after his excellent start to the season, leading to Madrid relenting on their plans for the Spain under-21 star.
