Barcelona star Neymar splits with girlfriend Bruna Marquezine

After dating for many years, Barcelona striker Neymar and partner Bruna Marquezine have gone their separate ways.

"It's the last time I talk about my personal life because I do not like it. But, yes, we are separated," Neymar told reporters before entering a luxury hotel in Sao Paulo where a charity auction organized by football player.

"It was a decision of both parties. Bruna is a girl I admire a lot and I hope she is happy, not only professionally but in her personal life. Life goes on, because this is a part of it.

"We end as good friends," he added.

The event was attended by former Brazilian players Mauro Silva and Edú Gaspar, the singers Claudia Leite and Thiaguinho, presenters Rodrigo Faro, Roberto Justus, Luciano Huck and Sabrina Sato, Comedian Tom Cavalcante and actress Paolla Oliveira.
