Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has become the first manager to win the Europa League and the Champions League twice after his team Manchester United beat Ajax in Wednesday’s Europa league final.

Brilliant goals by Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed a 2-0 win at the Friends Arena in Stockholm and helped book Manchester United in next season’s Champions League.

The victory means Mourinho has made history by becoming the only manager to win the Europa League and the Champions League on two separates occasion each.

Mourinho won the UEFA Cup with Porto in 2003 before winning the Champions League with the Portuguese club the following year.

Mourinho’s second Champions League victory was with Inter-milan in 2010.

And now Wednesday night’s result has sealed Mourinho’s trophy run.
