Wanyama thanks Machakos fans after Harambee Stars’ 2-1 win over DRC Congo

Tottenham Hotspur defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama took to twitter to thank Machakos fans after Harambee Stars stunned DRC Congo 2-1 in Sunday's international friendly match at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.

23-year-old China-based striker Michael Olunga gave himself a perfect birthday gift after scoring a brace as coach Stanley Okumbi extended his unbeaten run to ten games.

Backed with home support from a handful of Machakos fans who turned up for the match, Wanyama thanked the fans for their support following the win.
