East Africa volleyball kings Malava Boys and National Champions Cheptil will be renewing their rivalry when the two sides meet at the Lawi Mamai Volleyball Tournament that will be staged at Malaba Township Primary School, Busia County, this weekend.

Malava will travel with unpleasant memories of conceding the national title to Cheptil during the finals in Kisumu last year to gift Cheptil their second title since 2013.

Malava will be keen to ensure that they don’t lose to Cheptil again in a rivalry that will be interesting to watch. They lost to another Rwandan side, Rusumo, in the 2015 finals.
