Brazil legend Ronaldo emerged victorious with team Brazil in the 2002 World Cup Final against Germany but no one had any idea why he had a crazy haircut.

And now the former Real Madrid and Barcelona striker has finally revealed why he chose the strange haircut.

Talking to ESPN Brazil, as per Dream Team, Ronaldo revealed he had suffered a groin injury, prompting him to shave his head  to divert people's attention from talking about his injury.

“My groin was hurting. I was only at 60 per cent. So I shaved my head," the Brazillian striker said.

“Everybody was only talking about my injury. When I arrived in training with this haircut everybody stopped talking about the injury. “

Ronaldo was Brazil’s hero of the 2002 World Cup hosted by Korea and Japan, scoring both goals in the final.
