The national under-17 team takes on Cameroon in the return match of the Africa Youth Championships at Kasarani today with no hope of making it to the next round.

Kenya go into the match with a 7-0 goal deficit which they suffered in the first leg two weeks ago.

Football Kenya Federation announced that fans will not pay to watch today's match. The federation has urged Kenyans to turn up for the fixture.

In the same breath, FKF Technical Director Andreas Spier has given up on the team advancing to the next round of the tournament. Kenya need to win by eight goals.

Spiers said they will just focus on gaining some experience from the fixture.

"It will be a very difficult match for us in the return leg and we just want to focus on the experience there is to take from playing Cameroon. Our opponents have already made it to the next round with such a healthy advantage from the first leg," he said.

Elsewhere, Betway Kenya has sponsored former Harambee Stars striker and current brand ambassador Dennis Oliech, to attend a professional coaching workshop in South Africa.

The bookmaker is looking to give its brand ambassador the groundwork for future in coaching, social development, technical skills, age training and the organizational skills necessary to run football tournaments. The one-week training will take place at South Africa World Coaches Konink Nederlandse Voetbal Bond (KNVB) workshop.

Betway Kenya Country Manager Wanja Gikony said they are determined to equip the former Kenyan international with essential skills that a football coach needs.

"He will then be able to pass on that knowledge as well as skills to youth in Kenya. This is the first among many training opportunities that Betway has lined up for Dennis.

"As our ambassador, he will be heavily involved in football talent development across the country. This is one of the ways we are contributing towards spurring development of football in Kenya," she said.
