Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has warned more Argentina players could follow Lionel Messi into international retirement after the Barcelona superstar's shock exit.
Messi called time on his Argentina career after missing a penalty in a shootout defeat to Chile in Sunday's Copa America final.
"It's likely that Messi won't be the only one to go into international retirement," said Aguero.
"It's our toughest defeat to take," he added.
"We were all very devastated in the dressing room, particularly Leo, I'd never seen him in such a state," Aguero said.

Argentina lost their third straight major final following painful defeats in the 2014 World Cup and 2015 Copa America.
Aguero did not say whether he would be one of the players to call time on his Argentina career.
The futures of Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano, 32, and perhaps attacker Gonzalo Higuain could be in doubt after the defeat.
