Handball: KHF to organize referees’ course

Kenya Handball Federation (KHF) has organised a referees' course for both the begginers and upgrading in an aim to raise handball standards in the country.

The course will run from April 17-20 at the Kaloleni handball Court. For one to participate in the training, they have to pay registration fees Sh 4,000, all upgrading referees should come with their current license, all participants should carry kits for practical and they will also cater for their upkeep during the four days.

KHF referees’ development officer Charles Omondi said the course is important because it guarantees technical excellence and licensing by the federation.

"This course will help in the development of match referees as we try to raise the standards of the sport in the country, said Kenya Handball Federation referees,” said Omondi.

Meanwhile, the Zone V International Handball Federation(IHF) Trophy Challenge for the junior teams will be held in Kampala, Uganda next Month with selection of the teams set for this Month.
