Jurgen Klopp engaged in a rare outburst with a reporter after the Merseyside derby

Jurgen Klopp launched an astonishing rant in his post-match interview with Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davison after bemoaning the decision to award a penalty for Dejan Lovren's push on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
The Reds boss reacted angrily after Davison conceded he thought it was a penalty, insisting he only wanted "to talk to people who have a little bit of understanding about football."
The German coach fumed at the decision to award he penalty saying that Lewin played a trick on Lovren and he should have been victimized for simulation.
Despite fans offering their sympathy for Davison, he has leaped to the defence of Klopp and insists he has "no problem" with his response.
He said on Twitter: "Thanks for messages (most of them) about Klopp interview. Angry and upset rather than rude or unpleasant I thought. Absolutely no problem with that. Always rather interview a manager who’s honest."
Wayne Rooney converted from the spot to cost Klopp's side two points after Mohamed Salah's wonderful opener had put the hosts in control.
The result puts Liverpool 16 points behind Manchester City with Arsenal still just one point behind them in fifth.
Klopp also defended his move to withdraw their top scorer Mohammed Salah as the team trailed their local rivals by a goal to nil. He said that when the Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino came in for the Egyptian, the play somewhat changed because they could come up with some lethal moves.
