Sergio Aguero has paved the way for his Manchester City exit after next season.

The club's top scorer is under contract until 2019 and does have the option to extend his deal for another year.

The 29-year-old has revealed that he will be rejoining his boyhood club back in Argentina- Independiente.

Amid interests from Milan and real Madrid, he said "But the idea was always to go back to Independiente when my contract with City runs out in 2019.

“I have an option to extend one more year with City where it’s the priority but it’s always an option, according to the Sun.

Having won two league titles and cups, since Aguero’s arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2011, broke City’s record after netting 179 goals in 265 appearances.
