Tiemoue Bakayoko has agreed to sign for Chelsea on a four-year deal, according to reports.

Telefoot have said the 22-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Stamford Bridge in a deal which will cost the Premier League champions £35million.

This agreement comes just days after Nemanja Matic reportedly agreed terms with Manchester United as he is set to reunite with Jose Mourinho.

Now that both clubs have agreed a fee and personal terms have been settled, it has been rumoured Bakayoko will have his medical next week.

It is believed Bakayoko chose to join Chelsea over Man Utd due to the fact he prefers Antonio Conte over Mourinho.

It is expected that the defensive midfielder will team up with his fellow countryman N’Golo Kante in the heart of Chelsea’s midfield.

Bakayoko played a key role in Monaco’s title-winning season and will now look to help Chelsea defend their Premier League crown next term.

He arrived at Monaco in 2014 from Rennes and has developed into one of Europe’s most wanted midfielders.

His strong performances were rewarded when he made his debut for France back in March against Spain.
