World football governing body Fifa has called for a new agreement on an expanded Kenyan Premier League, a move that could effectively end KPL’s overbearing attitude on the local football association.

The letter, signed by the new Fifa Secretary General Fatou Samoura, cites various Fifa Statues that could have serious consequences on the existence of KPL and its mandate to run the top-tier league, given its insubordination to Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
