Mesut Ozil has put contract talks with Arsenal on hold for a second time, according to reports.

The Times claim Ozil wants to keep his options open and is concerned about the Gunners’ failure to challenge for major honours.

Arsenal are willing to pay the Germany international £200,000-a-week but the money isn’t said to be an issue for Ozil.

It is claimed a number of top European clubs are interested in the 27-year-old and he wants to explore his options before committing his long-term future to the north London club.
