Man United players upset with Solskjaer's treatment of goalkeeper

Several Manchester United players are said to be disappointed with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's treatment of popular goalkeeper Sergio Romero, who now faces the prospect of not playing any football until January at the earliest.
The Argentinean, 33, has been a loyal deputy to David De Gea for the past five years at Old Trafford, playing only seven Premier League matches in that time but also amassing 61 appearances in all competitions.
The FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League are where Romero has banked most of his minutes, and that has been enough to keep the 96-times capped international in the picture for his country.
In fact, no goalkeeper has picked up more caps for Argentina than Romero, but he has now not played internationally since 2018 as a lack of action has caught up with him.
The return of Dean Henderson from his loan spells with Sheffield United seemed set to pave the way for Romero to exit Old Trafford, but the Red Devils' insistence on a £10million fee for the goalkeeper scared off suitors, which included Everton.
Romero has not only lost his place as second-choice to Henderson, but he has also been omitted from United's Champions League squad as 37-year-old third-choice Lee Grant got the nod.
ESPN report that United players were left surprised by Solskjaer's decision to play De Gea in both the FA Cup and Europa League semi-finals last season, despite the fact that Romero had been keeping goal for the majority of the competition.
De Gea made errors that led to goals for Chelsea's Olivier Giroud and Mason Mount in the FA Cup tie, which was United's third semi-final loss of the season.
Romero has been away in Argentina during the international break, but he knows that he has little chance of any football upon his return as Solskjaer wants to give Henderson a chance to live up to his declarations of challenging De Gea.
The former Sampdoria and Monaco stopper - whose wife has been critical of Solskjaer and United - has one year left on his contract, although United could trigger an option to extend.
