Rapper 50 Cent has claimed he would beat Conor McGregor in a street fight.

The hip hop superstar's comments come after The Notorious took a pop at him during his media tour with Floyd Mayweather in the summer.

The Irishman is said to have abused 50 Cent during the tour in July.

The rapper has now responded, saying he would beat McGregor in a "street fight".

He said on American talk show Watch What Happens Live: “I was like this fool didn’t know if he was fighting Floyd or me. But he was doing his job. He was putting on a show. And making sure everybody was paying attention.”

When asked about his chances of beating McGregor in a fight, he commented: “In the street? Yeah! C’mon, he weighs 150 pounds, man."

It's not the first time 50 cent has addressed McGregor.

Shortly after the Dubliner's comments in July, 50 said on Instagram: "What the f*** wrong with this white boy, you fighting Floyd not me fool. LOL."

McGregor is currently holidaying with his family in Ibiza.
