Former German international Deniz Naki has been jailed in Turkey for making terror-linked propaganda.

A court in Turkey found the former Bundesliga star guilty of the offence and handed him a jail sentence.

He denied the charges, claiming he only wanted to give a message of peace.

Turkish security forces have been conducting operations against terrorism to clear out the Diyarbakir region from terror.
