Samir Nasri could face a four-year drug ban at the end of his Drip Doctor Twitter-hack nightmare, according to the Sun.
The Manchester City superstar – who is on loan at Sevilla this season – hit the headlines when he visited the intravenous therapy clinic last month.
Drip Doctors tweeted a picture of Nasri, 29, and founder Jamila Sozahdah with the caption: “We provided Nasri a concierge immunity IV drip to keep him hydrated and in top health during his busy soccer season with Sevilla.”
Nasri’s account was then apparently hacked by his girlfriend who claimed the star received a “full sexual service” from Sozahdah after the procedure in a series of bizarre posts.
He later erased his record – yet not before World Anti-Doping Agency had been alarmed to potential doping offenses.
Wada does not permit intravenous treatment aside from in amounts of 50 milliliters for each six-hour time frame or less, or if there is extraordinary regulation on therapeutic grounds.
