Last year 2015, Caster Semenya said “I Do” to longtime girlfriend Violet Ledile Raseboya.

The two have been together for a decade and tied a knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in their home province of Limpopo.

Caster, 25, was born with no womb or ovaries  due to a chromosomal abnormality, internal testes and was once forced to undergo gender testing to prove that she was born a female because she has naturally high levels of testosterone.

 In March 2010, she was denied the opportunity to compete but was later cleared to compete as a woman.

Their relationship go as far back as 2008 when fellow athletes noticed the two had grown close. Early 2013, Semenya was forced to deny rumours circulating on social networks that she was pregnant- rumours that were later found to be total lies.

Despite these controversies, Violet Raseboya and Caster Semenya are quite happy together. Below are some of their cute photos that prove love truly can last:
