Mario Balotelli reacts next to his coach Massimiliano Allegri after being substituted

Mario Balotelli’s agent has opened the door to a potential reunion with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

The AC Milan striker has been making waves in Serie A and has recently returned from a three-match ban for making insulting and intimidating comments towards a referee.

The latest controversy has once again raised questions over Balotelli’s future, and his agent, Mino Raiola, has indicated Stamford Bridge could be a viable destination for the Italia, who previously enjoyed a successful relationship with Mourinho at Inter Milan.

‘Balotelli and [Chelsea boss] Jose Mourinho could be reunited because they know each other and they didn’t leave each other with hate,’ Raiola told Tiki Taka on Italia 1.

‘There was a not very nice incident between them, but they parted company on good terms.

‘They have remained in contact and there is mutual respect.

‘I know Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani will not agree, but Mario is a great striker. That is for certain and he could perhaps be that at Chelsea.’

Raiola’s snipe at Galliani comes after the Milan chief dismissed comments from the agent that Balotelli would not see out his career at the San Siro.

The former Manchester City striker is contracted to Milan until 2017.
