Alexandre Lacazette could leave Arsenal this summer as the north London club look for ways to reduce their wage bill.

According to The Athletic, Juventus are one club who would be keen on taking the Frenchman off Arsenal's hand.

The Old Lady, who recently appointed Andrea Pirlo boss after Maurizio Sarri was sacked, are looking to bolster their attacking options going into the new season.

And, they'd reportedly be happy to offload a player from their arsenal to sweeten the deal.

The three Juve stars on the chopping block, who could sign for the Gunners as part of a player-plus deal, are: Gonzalo Higuain, Douglas Costa, Cristian Romero.

The former is likely to be a non-starter given the fact he'll be on huge wages, and he is nearing the end of his career at the top level.

Costa is also unlikely to sign for Arsenal, despite appealing to Mikel Arteta, as the Gunners are well-stocked in attacking positions.

Romero is the most likely player to join should a swap deal take place.

Arsenal are short at the back and Arteta is looking to strengthen his defence ahead of the new season.

Arteta won't have huge money to spend this summer and will need to move players on before bringing in new blood.

As many as seven players are on the proverbial chopping block: Mesut Ozil, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Sead Kolasinac and Lucas Torreira.

Arsenal are ready to offer Ozil a pay-off to release him from his £18million contract.

The German earns a staggering £350,000-a-week at Arsenal despite not being in Arteta's plans, and has become a huge financial drain on the club.
