Jamie Vardy has responded to rumours that he is among the players who were behind Claudio Ranieri's sacking.

The England international, alongside his teammate Riyad Mahrez had been accused by a section of fans of sabotaging Ranieri's work this season.

The 30-year-old striker was on fire last season, having scored 24 goals in 36 league appearances as the Foxes clinched their first-ever league title in their 130-year-old history.

This season he has only managed five league goals in 22 appearances, and the King Power Stadium sit in the relegation zone with 21 points out of 25 games.
