OK, it's confession time. Before Arsenal fans across the globe have multiple heart attacks, let us confirm that Thierry Henry is NOT a secret Tottenham supporter.

Even so, how wrong does it feel to see The Gunners' greatest ever striker wearing a hat that simply says 'Spurs' on it? It's like seeing Steven Gerrard with an Everton scarf - it just doesn't work.

Thankfully for all the Arsenal fans out there, this is neither real nor some elaborate prank. The Spurs in this case are the San Antonio Spurs, the basketball side who happen to be Henry's favourite NBA team.

Still, the Frenchman might have thought how this looked before he started saying his goodbyes in the New York Red Bulls dressing room.

Given that he is leaving the US, plenty of Gooners might have thought the worst had happened and their hero was on his way to White Hart Lane…
