Relegation-threatened Nairobi City Stars will be seeking redemption against high-flying Kakamega Homeboyz at Dandora Stadium as the FKF Premier League enters matchweek 21 this weekend with crucial fixtures lined up, beginning on Friday.

City Stars are enduring a tough spell, winless in their last eight matches, having drawn four and lost four. Sitting in the relegation zone with 18 points, they are desperate for a turnaround.

Meanwhile, their opponents, Homeboyz, are enjoying a stellar run, unbeaten in their last 10 games, making them strong favorites for the encounter.

The other Friday fixture sees Kariobangi Sharks take on Posta Rangers at the same venue. Sharks, currently 13th with 22 points, will be aiming to distance themselves from the drop zone, while Rangers, just one spot above them, also need a positive result to avoid being dragged into the relegation battle.

Saturday features an exciting lineup of matches, headlined by league leaders Kenya Police hosting bottom-placed Bidco United at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. Both teams are at opposite ends of the table, with Kenya Police sitting on 38 points, tied with second-placed Tusker, while Bidco struggles at the foot of the table with just 18 points.

Bandari, fifth in the standings, will look to keep their title hopes alive when they host 16th-placed Talanta at Mbaraki Sports Club. Meanwhile, Ulinzi Stars will battle Murang'a Seal at SportPesa Arena, with both sides eager for three points to solidify their mid-table standings.

AFC Leopards will be away at Mara Sugar in Awendo in another intriguing clash. Leopards, currently sixth, need a win to push for the top four, while Mara Sugar, ninth in the standings, will aim to close the gap on the leading pack.

In another key fixture, KCB, who sit fourth, face Sofapaka at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos, as they seek to maintain their charge towards the top three.

Sunday's fixtures bring the most anticipated match of the weekend as third-placed Gor Mahia host second-placed Tusker at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos. This clash could have a huge impact on the title race, with both teams aiming to close in on Kenya Police at the summit.

Shabana will wrap up the weekend action against Mathare United at Gusii Stadium in a crucial battle, with both teams looking to escape the bottom half of the table.

With plenty at stake in matchweek 21, all eyes will be on whether City Stars can finally secure a win and whether Gor Mahia can boost their title credentials against a determined Tusker side.
