The FKF Youth League 2024 season finals are set to take place this weekend.

This season marks the second edition of the youth leagues, which have grown significantly to include 786 teams across six counties: Turkana, Kakamega, Kisumu, Nakuru, Mombasa, and Nairobi.

The finals will be hosted at various centers nationwide, with Nakuru and Turkana scheduled to hold their finals on Saturday, while Kakamega, Kisumu, and Mombasa will conclude their matches on Sunday. Nairobi will host its finals across both Saturday and Sunday.

The FKF Youth League was established to identify and nurture new football talent, providing a robust platform for young players to showcase their skills and catch the eye of scouts. It has served as a critical stepping stone for many aspiring footballers, highlighting the immense talent across the country.

The last edition of the FKF Youth League saw Rodney Strikers emerge as winners in the Boys U15 and U13 categories, while the Girls U13 category was won by SJF, and the Girls U15 category by Ladies Musa. This time, the competition features both U13 and U15 categories, along with the newly introduced U17 category for both boys and girls.

As the second edition of this initiative, the FKF Youth League has demonstrated the Football Kenya Federation's commitment to grassroots development and the future of Kenyan football. The growth in participation from teams across diverse regions underscores the league's success in reaching untapped areas of talent.
